THE 58TH ANNUAL CALIFORNIA RV SHOW, OCTOBER 15-24, 2010 top |
Come join the fun and celebrate the 100th anniversary of RVing when the 58th Annual California RV Show springs to life October 15-24 at the Fairplex (LA County Fair, Hotel, Exposition Complex) in Pomona.Camping travel dates back to the early days of American history when pioneers took covered wagons and traversed the country in search of a new place to live. As technology progressed, people began camping in private rail cars that were pulled to sidings along train routes. While there were individual RVs built prior to 1910, that was the year that marked when the first auto-related camping vehicles were built for commercial sale. These vehicles were the forerunner of today’s modern RVs.With the economy starting to recover and financing becoming more available hitting a RVing is becoming even more popular. Offering freedom, flexibility, affordability and fun, RV’s provide an ideal means of family travel. They offer plenty of space, the comforts of home, easy pet travel, flexible schedules, the ability to bring along your sporting and activity equipment, and best of all, cost far less than other types of vacations. In short, they give families the ability to travel the country in comfort. You can set your own schedule, change direction at any time and never have to stand in line or get to airports hours ahead of time to get through security. Not only does RVing bring your family closer together, but it compliments any lifestyle or interest. The 2011 models will be on display at this year’s California RV Show. With 43 manufacturers exhibiting, you can get an outstanding perspective of all that is available in RVs.
