Gather your family of ghouls and goblins and join us on Saturday, October 30, 2010, at Jawbone Station for the 2nd Annual Friends of Jawbone Halloween Party. The event will focus on OHV safety awareness and will feature a special performance from the world-famous Sundance Dog Team, a frightful demonstration by rattlesnake handler Henry Lundsford, and a family-fun Poker Run. This daylong event starts at 11 am, and registration for an OHV Halloween Poker Run will open at 12 noon.

Some of the fun activities happening during the event will include a performance from the  and a demonstration by rattle snake handler Henry Lundsford.

Friends of Jawbone will also kick off its annual Holiday Canned Food Drive. Please contribute what you can to help feed the needy during the upcoming holiday season.

Jawbone Station is located on Highway 14 at Jawbone Canyon Road, just 20 miles north of Mojave. The Friends of Jawbone OHV Safety & Halloween Party is presented by the BLM Ridgecrest Field Office, California State Parks and Recreation, Kern County Sheriff Department, and Air Methods Corporation.
