Pin and Loop Locks Deliver One-Key Convenience to Users
I just got one of these cable locks. It took me about three seconds to key the lock to use my Chevy truck key on it. I like these Bolt locks because now I can use my truck key to unlock this six foot cable lock and the Bolt pin hitch lock that I already had. One key does all my locks now much cooler then trying to figure out which key fits what. The only complaint that I have is that you have to hold the lock real tight to turn the key far enough to unlock the lock. With that being said having one key for everything makes it all worth while.

The BOLT Cable Locks are made from 1/4-inch coiled cable with 1/16-inch black vinyl coating and are coil sprung for compact storage. They feature Breakthrough One-Key Lock Technology, which permanently programs the lock to the owner’s vehicle ignition key. Once the ignition key is inserted into the lock cylinder, spring-loaded plate tumblers move up and down until they are matched exactly to that key. The first time the key is rotated, the cylinder is uniquely coded to that key.
